About HPTA Central Activities Organizational Structure Operating Charter
The Hai Phong Tourism Association (HPTA) is a non-profit organization representing businesses and professionals in the tourism sector in Hai Phong, Vietnam. Established to promote the growth and development of the local tourism industry, HPTA serves as a bridge between tourism enterprises, local authorities, and international partners. The association plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of tourism services and advocating for sustainable tourism development in the region.

History of HPTA

2005 - 2010

The Hai Phong Tourism Association was established in 2005 with the primary goal of creating a strong organization to support tourism businesses in developing products, services, and promoting Hai Phong's tourism image. This was also the period when Hai Phong began recognizing the great potential for developing coastal tourism, cultural tourism, and eco-tourism.

2010 - 2015

After its establishment, the Association continuously expanded its activities, including organizing events, conferences, and seminars on tourism. Additionally, the Association focused on training high-quality human resources for the tourism industry and strengthening connections with tourism organizations both domestically and internationally. During this period, Hai Phong became a prominent tourist destination with coastal tours, resorts, and historical sites.

2015 - Present

The Hai Phong Tourism Association has increasingly asserted its important role in building and developing the city's tourism. Its activities not only focus on promoting Hai Phong's tourism but also on improving service quality, developing unique tourism products, and organizing festivals and events to attract tourists. The Association has also actively coordinated with government agencies to develop policies that support tourism businesses.
